Adding notification information to a customer record

When your organization receives a memorial or tribute, you must notify the honoree's family members and business associates that a donation has been made. Before you can notify the family or friend, you must create a list of individuals to be notified in the honoree's record.

Enter notification information in the honoree's customer record in the Notification tab on the Manage customers window.

To enter notification information for a customer record

1.  From Customers, select Manage customers to display the Manage customers window.

2.  Click Find, enter the customer ID, and click Go.

3.  Select the Notification tab.

4.  On a blank row in the Notification tab, enter the Notify ID.

5.  (optional) Select the Memorial/Tribute Code from the drop-down list.

6.  (optional) Select the Relationship from the drop-down list.

7.  (optional) Select the Salutation Code from the drop-down list.

8.  (optional) Select the Merge Code from the drop-down list.

9.  (optional) Select the Sender Code from the drop-down list.

10. Click Save.

To search for a Notify ID

1.  From Customers, select Manage customers to display the Manage customers window.

2.  Click Find, enter the customer ID, and click Go.

3.  Select the Notification tab.

4.  Click the blank Notify ID field and then click the down arrow to display the Find ID window.

5.  Find and select the desired ID, then click OK. The Notify ID field is populated with the selected ID.
